HackRot is a handmade, fully customizable MIDI controller based on Arduino Pro Micro, built entirely around rotary encoders. Unlike potentiometers, encoders have no fixed start or end — they spin freely in both directions, sending relative increment/decrement messages for precise, jump-free control.
